Individual Accused in Ivy League Campus Incident Located Deceased Inside Storage Unit.

The suspect believed to be the weekend's fatal violence at Brown University reportedly died by suicide on Thursday evening, as stated by law enforcement.

He was found at a storage location on Thursday evening, as reported citing an enforcement source. The same individual is also believed of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.

“He ended his own life this evening,” said the chief of the Providence police department during a press conference.

The police official named the individual as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old student at Brown University.

This news follows a significant law enforcement operation at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Journalists on scene reported seeing numerous armed officers entering the premises.

The manhunt for the shooter had resumed on Monday after the attorney general's office revealed that a individual detained on Sunday had been let go. This turn of events was acknowledged to be likely to cause fresh anxiety for the local community.

City leadership emphasized that while the release was a disappointment, the broader investigation continued without interruption.

The two students who were killed in the shooting have been named by family. They are Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama who was active in a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an Uzbek national in his freshman year who dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon.

Authorities are scheduled to hold a press conference to deliver additional information on the suspect's death.
